Call Companions

What are the aims?

We aim to help reduce loneliness and isolation in vulnerable people in our community, and keep our clients connected to our services and volunteers.

A volunteer will speak to clients weekly or twice weekly for a friendly chat and to provide support, advice and a friendly listening ear.

Who can benefit?

We can support any members of our community who are lonely or isolated, and may have no one to talk to.

There is no cost to our services.

Client quote…

“I really look forward to my weekly call. It really helps me get through the week as I have no family who live nearby. I can’t thank you enough as you have really supported me and given me useful advice during a very difficult and lonely time”
