If you are feeling isolated or lonely for any reason and would appreciate a weekly telephone call with a friendly listening ear then help is at hand.
Online Social Sessions
Grab a brew and log in to our group online social sessions, run by our Community Navigation team. Support is available if you’re not tech savvy!
Walk and Talk
Currently on hold. A gentle walk around a local park, led by one of our staff team with a small number of other like-minded individuals.
Our social connectors and befriending service is aimed at lonely and socially isolated people who live in the Glossopdale area. Volunteers are recruited either as shorter-term social connector working with someone towards an agreed goal or activity or longer-term befrienders who will then act as “a good neighbour” by visiting someone in their home and giving them some regular company/companionship.
