|Overview of Role:
To develop and deliver the Greater Manchester GSPP. To manage key work strands and deliverables, ensuring the programme is well managed and delivered to a high standard. This will include project management, reporting and developing excellent partnerships with our test and learn partners.
Greater Manchester (GM) has been successful in securing 2 years’ funding to develop the link between social prescribing and green community activity. The funding is part of a cross-government project run by multiple partners, including DHSC, DEFRA, Natural England, NHS England and Improvement, Public Health England, Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, and the National Academy for Social Prescribing. This is part of a national programme of 7 sites across England, which have been disproportionally affected by Covid-19.
