Term: 2 year fixed term contract
Responsible to: Move More Glossop Lead
Location: The Bureau offices at Bank House, 22 Henry Street, Glossop, Derbyshire, SK13 8BW, with working activity expected across the High Peak including Buxton Community School and New Mills Volunteer Centre. Some home working


Overview of Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the High Peak to work with schools and the community to engage more children and young people to become more physically active.   

We are looking for a conscientious and committed individual to work with Move More High Peak, hosted by The Bureau and High Peak School & Sport Partnership teams, to support the national School Games programme and the development of a community infrastructure with the aim of improving the health and wellbeing of our children and young people.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the voluntary and community sector and knowledge of the school games programme and other national strategies around physical, health and wellbeing.

Hours of work (37.5) will include a mixture of home/office, school and community work and some evenings and weekends.
