Pre-Employment & Life Skills

Welcome to The Bureaus Pre-Employment Program - Routes To Work!

Our program is designed to provide personalized support to individuals seeking employment, helping them overcome hurdles and find the best route to success. Whether you need help with CV writing, interview techniques, finding volunteer opportunities, or learning new skills, we are here to support you every step of the way.

Who can benefit from our program?

Our program is open to anyone who is looking for a job or training but doesn’t know where to start. It is particularly beneficial for those who have been out of work for a long time or face personal barriers that are hindering their progress in life.

Our support is provided through one-to-one appointments, either at The Bureau or at an alternative location that is more convenient for you.

And the best part? Our program is completely free of charge!

Hear what our participants have to say:

"My mind's just blown right now with the opportunities that I've been given and all the help that I've received. I'm literally that excited that I can't type if that makes sense. So a voice note is much better. I'm just so thankful for all these opportunities that have come in and opened my doors. I have so many things to go for and so many things to do now. I'm just so happy. Honestly, I just can't express my gratitude right now. It's just over and beyond

The Bureaus Life Skills Project

Our Life Skills Project is specifically designed to support individuals with complex needs who may be far from ready or able to enter the job market. We provide tailored support to help them identify and build on their existing strengths, as well as develop the life and work skills necessary to improve their lives.

Who can benefit from our Life Skills Project?

Our program is open to individuals who are over the age of 16, have the right to live and work in the UK, are not engaged in any other government-funded training scheme, and are facing complex challenges in their lives that are keeping them from entering the job market.

Our support includes one-to-one volunteer mentorship, training, confidence-building and stress management group work, as well as volunteer and work placements.

And just like our Pre-Employment Program, our Life Skills Project is completely free of charge!

I just wanted to say thank you to The Bureau since I joined in February this year. I've come so far and achieved the goals I set. The people there and The Bureau have made me feel a lot less anxious and so much more confident. I have to be honest and say that without Ed and the support from The Bureau during the lockdown, I don't think I would have survived it. I can't thank The Bureau enough for everything they have done to improve my mental health and everything else.
