Join Community Companions

Join our friendly Community Companions team and provide invaluable support for local people in need of friendship and practical support.

Come along, register and take part in one of our training events in our Howard Town House Offices in central Glossop. We regularly run training events for all our volunteers to ensure that you are well informed and well supported. During these events you will have the chance to meet the team and fellow volunteers and become informed of our policies and guidelines and are ready for their volunteering role.

We cover the following topics:

• Befriending
• Boundaries and confidentiality
• Safeguarding
• The organisation’s responsibility
